How We Build Robotics at Niryo
-
At Niryo, we develop, test, and deploy. Every tech team member gets to explore the full software development chain — from specs and algorithms to CI, testing and releasen, with no silos.
We work in a well-structured environment, with solid methods and experienced teammates who help set the pace, share knowledge, and support everyone’s growth.
-
We love turning ideas into working prototypes fast. Design a part in the morning, print it in the afternoon, and test it on a robot by the evening, that’s a regular day here.
Rapid, hands-on experimentation is how we move forward and build reliable, well-crafted products.
-
We believe in the power of tech communities. Whether it’s speaking at ROSCon, collaborating with Hugging Face, or sharing at DevLille, we love exchanging ideas and pushing robotics forward.
We’re not open source, but we invest in partnerships that matter, and we always aim to contribute.

Our Tech & Collaboration Stack

Robotics Stack
Our robotics stack is built in C++ and Python, with a selective and well-controlled use of ROS2.
We design and develop all software layers, from motor drivers to system middleware and robot APIs.
➡️ A robust and scalable architecture, built on modern practices and high standards in software development.

Application Stack
We use Golang for back-end development and SolidJS for the front-end.
Our platform runs on AWS with a serverless-first approach, and infrastructure is managed through Terraform.
➡️ A modern, lightweight, and modular setup designed for fast and reliable deployments.

Hardware Stack
We design our robots using Onshape for mechanical CAD, and both KiCad and Altium for PCB design.
➡️ A fully integrated workflow that enables real-time co-design and fast iteration, from concept to production.

Collaboration Stack
We rely on modern, user-friendly tools to streamline teamwork: Google Workspace for day-to-day work, Notion as our intranet, Confluence for technical documentation, Jira for project tracking, and Lucca for HR management.
➡️ A well-equipped environment for clear, structured, and real-time collaboration across all teams.
